The present collection of papers resulted from a seminar on nonlinear dynamics and quantum dynamical systems.
The papers on nonlinear dynamics mainly deal with the following subjects: generalized Poincaré criterion and strange attractor, Duffing equation and Hausdorff dimension, numerical methods for heteroclinic orbits, dynamical systems and integro-differential equations with cylindric phase space, bifurcation problems and invariant manifolds, integral invariants, system theory.
The papers on quantum dynamical systems contain contributions to the following problems:
the concept of entropy of operator algebras, properties of positive and completely positive maps in topological algebras, representation of automorphism groups and derivations, structure of state space.
The collection contains research papers as well as review articles.
